JOB DETAILS:

Reporting To Zonal Officer, The Successful Candidate Will;

Key Result Areas:

1. Visit farmers and sensitize them on good farming practices

2. Collaborate with Community Volunteers on supply of seeds, sensitization of farmers, harvesting produce.

3. Coordinate with Procurement Assistants on sale of seeds to farmers and purchase of produce from farmers

4. Maintain good working relationship with local leaders

5. Liaise with development partners supporting agricultural programs in the area

6. Organize corporate social responsibility activities in the districts of operation

7. Prepare daily activity reports

8. Coordinate purchase of high-quality seeds.

9. Locate and mobilize farmers.

10. Coordinate ground trainings for farmers.

11. Coordinate distribution of high-quality seeds to the farmers.

12. Any other duties assigned by the Extension Services Manager

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Diploma in Agricultural related field from a recognized institute.
• 2 years’ experience in a similar role

SKILLS & PROFESSIONAL ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED

• Agricultural background
• Cross-cultural skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills,
• Entrepreneurial and analytical skills

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: bachelor degree
