FOOD HYGIENE OFFICER

As East Africa's most ambitious restaurant business, we are continually growing our family and are currently recruiting a Food Hygiene Officer. Got what it takes? Get on board! You will be responsible for creating an even more welcoming and wonderful environment by ensuring overall hygiene activities and food safety in production, storage area and branches with implementation and sustenance of ISO 22000 — Food safety management system.

Key Responsibility Areas:

• Create awareness of food safety and hygiene standards to every staff at the commissary & stores
  
• Carry out hygiene surveillance audits for all our stores and daily hygiene inspection of commissary
  
• Ensure hygiene and quality records are maintained for Commissary and all stores as per ISO 22000 requirements and take appropriate corrective action where deviations occur

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

• Must be in possession of a food science based degree or a Diploma from a recognized institution
  
• An additional qualification or experience in ISO 22000/HACCP.
  
• Have a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience
