As part of its growing Software Development team, Streamline Health Tech is seeking a talented Full-Stack Laravel Software Engineer to design, develop, maintain, and deploy high-quality software solutions.

Job Purpose

The Full-Stack Laravel Software Engineer is responsible for developing, testing, maintaining, and deploying web-based applications using the Laravel PHP framework and related technologies. The role contributes to the full software development lifecycle, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing applications that support the company's digital health solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using the Laravel PHP framework.
• Develop clean, efficient, and well-documented code in accordance with software development standards.
• Review, troubleshoot, and resolve software bugs and performance issues.
• Conduct unit, integration, and functional testing to ensure software quality.
• Deploy applications to designated development, testing, and production environments.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including code documentation and user guides.
• Collaborate with software developers, product teams, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Utilize version control systems to manage source code effectively.
• Apply Agile software development practices during project execution.
• Continuously learn and adopt emerging technologies and development tools to improve productivity and software quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience

• 2–3 years' experience developing applications using the Laravel PHP framework.
• Demonstrated portfolio of completed Laravel projects hosted on GitHub.
• Experience developing full-stack web applications.
• Experience working in Agile software development environments.
• Experience using AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar) is an added advantage.

Knowledge and Skills

• Strong proficiency in PHP and the Laravel framework.
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end development practices.
• Extensive knowledge of MySQL and relational database design.
• Experience using Git and other version control systems.
• Knowledge of software testing, debugging, and deployment processes.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Familiarity with software architecture and secure coding practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
