RENU is offering an exciting opportunity for recent graduates to join our People and Culture Department through our Graduate Trainee Program. This program is designed for individuals interested in launching a professional career in Human Resources, and employee engagement.

We are seeking for self-driven, curious, and creative individuals who are eager to learn, collaborate and grow within a dynamic and purpose-driven team.

Responsibilities or duties

  • Support recruitment by posting job ads, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and preparing offer letters.
  • Organise onboarding and orientation for new staff.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture through engagement activities and team events.
  • Collect feedback from employees and suggest improvements to management.
  • Support performance reviews by tracking probation, scheduling appraisals, and maintaining development plans.
  • Keep accurate employee records such as contracts, leave, and training.
  • Provide HR-related data to support payroll and reporting.
  • Handle day-to-day HR queries from employees.
  • Help resolve workplace issues by coordinating documentation and supporting disciplinary processes.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Industrial/Organisational Psychology, or other business-related disciplines from a RENU member university
  • At least CGPA 4.0.
  • Graduated in 2024 or 2025 with certified copies of university transcripts.
  • UACE and UCE passlips.

Experience needed

  • Minimum experience of one year.
