Background

Kakira Sugar Limited invites applications from suitably qualified Ugandan graduates to join its Graduate Trainee Programme designed to develop high-potential talent for technical and professional roles across the company’s operations.

Overall Purpose of the job

To provide fresh graduates with structured hands-on training, mentoring and rotational exposure across operational and support departments within the sugar manufacturing value chain, preparing them for future supervisory and specialist roles in the company.

Knowledge, qualification & Experience

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree (Minimum Upper Second Class) in the following disciplines:

(Agriculture, Civil engineering, Waste water management, Agronomy, Industrial chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Agro-Processing, Telecommunications Engineering, Water Engineering, Human Resource Management, Mechanisation, Auto-motive engineering, Food science & Technology, Crop science, Agriculture engineering etc).

Experience

  • Must be a fresh graduate
  • No prior full-time work experience required.

Programme Duration:

Duration: Three (3) years training programme.

Benefits:

  • Stipend of UGX 500,000/=
  • Lunch at the staff canteen.
  • Medical cover for self.
  • Shared accommodation within the estate
