JOB DETAILS:

The Grinder is crucial for both safety and aesthetics. They clean up the welded product to prepare it for painting or final delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Removing Imperfections: Grind down welds to be smooth and flush with the base metal.
Cleaning Surfaces: Remove slag, spatter, rust, mill scale, and other contaminants from metal surfaces.
Beveling and Profiling: Prepare edges for welding or create specific contours on metal parts.
Blending: Blend ground areas seamlessly with the surrounding metal to prevent visible marks.
Polishing: Perform polishing or finishing passes to achieve a specific surface texture or aesthetic.
Safety Focus: Operate grinders and sanders safely, always using appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) like face shields and hearing protection.
