Job Responsibilities
- Establish HR systems (recruitment, contracts, payroll) compliant with Ugandan laws.
- Lead office setup (location selection, procurement, logistics) for Uganda site launch.
- Manage recruitment via local channels to build teams and talent pools.
- Bridge HQ-local operations: Report progress, align systems, and implement corporate culture.
- Ensure compliance: Audits, records management, and risk control.
- Oversee daily operations: Admin systems, vendor management, and cost control.
Requirements
- Ugandan national + bachelor’s degree in HR/Administration.
- 5+ years HR/admin experience (new site launch preferred).
- Expertise in Ugandan labor/tax regulations.
- Full HR module proficiency (recruitment, payroll, employee relations).
- Fluent English & Swahili (written/spoken).
- Cross-cultural collaboration skills for Kenya/Changsha HQ alignment.
- Adaptability to fast-paced, multi-tasking environments.
