Key Responsibilities:
The HR Specialist will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of general human resource management. Duties may include, but are not limited to:
Coordinating recruitment, onboarding, and employee orientation programs
Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
Handling employee relations and resolving workplace conflicts
Managing performance evaluations and appraisal systems
Overseeing payroll, leave management, and other employee benefits
Ensuring compliance with labor laws and organizational policies
Supporting learning and development initiatives
Maintaining accurate employee records and HR documentation
Advising management on best HR practices and strategic planning
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
At least 5 years of professional HR experience in a reputable organization
Proven knowledge of Ugandan labor laws and HR best practices
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
