ABOUT HPI
Health Promotion International Ltd (HPI) is a legally registered private entity in Uganda, recognised for its credibility as an Environmental, Social, Health, and Safety service provider for over 10 years. HPI delivers customised solutions to address the specific needs of infrastructure development projects, including capacity building, social risk management, accelerated access to health services, restoration of social assets for Project Affected Persons (PAPs), stakeholder engagement and partnerships, and expediting contractor HSE compliance requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and review HR policies, strategies, and budgets.
- Communicate HR policies through training and internal channels.
- Monitor employment legislation and update policies accordingly.
- Manage payroll and ensure accurate compensation.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
- Maintain financial records and administer project accounts.
- Coordinate office communications, reports, and filing systems.
- Serve as liaison for internal/external clients.
- Organize meetings/events and ensure compliance with data protection.
- Provide administrative, PA, and secretarial support to senior staff.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Ugandan nationals with a Bachelor’s in Human Resource Management, Industrial & Organizational Psychology, or equivalent.
- Postgraduate qualification in HRM is an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience.
- Clean criminal record.
- Females are encouraged to apply.
- Age: 28–30 years.
COMPETENCIES:
- Good knowledge of computer packages like Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
- Pays attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A self-starter who is able to work on own initiative with limited supervision.
