Job Purpose:
To lead the HR function, developing and implementing people strategies that support the farm's growth, foster an inclusive culture, and ensure compliance with all labor laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with company goals and legal requirements.
- Manage employee relations, including handling grievances, disciplinary matters, and promoting a positive work environment.
- Lead the implementation of the farm's diversity and inclusion strategy, ensuring a supportive environment for all employees, including those from the Deaf community.
- Oversee compensation and benefits administration, including payroll inputs.
- Identify training needs and coordinate staff development programs.
- Ensure full compliance with all relevant labor laws and statutory requirements.
- Provide strategic HR advice to senior management.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
- Higher Diploma in HRM / CHRP-K certification.
- Registered with IHRM (Institute of Human Resource Management).
- Minimum 7 years of generalist HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- In-depth knowledge of Kenyan labor laws.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in fostering inclusive workplaces is highly desirable.
