Savimaxx Limited Uganda is a multi-disciplinary professional consulting firm with demonstrated experience in successful management and implementation of projects.
We are looking for a Retainer Independent Hydrologist with a Ph. D and at least five years’ experience or Master’s Degree with at least 15 years in Hydrology, Water Resources Engineering or Engineering.
- Must have very good writing skills, editing, presentations and reporting skills. Must be fluent in oral, listening and written English.
- Must be conversant in conducting detailed hydrological studies in order to assess water flow, rainfall patterns, climate, climate change, flood risks, hydrological modelling, hydraulic studies, soil and water conservation, flood control planning, water supply forecasting, sediment transport, development a computer-based 3D time-series simulation model of projected water balance that is relevant to roads construction, hydropower dams, ground water resources assessment, water resources management, wetlands management, catchment/basin management and irrigation.
- S/he must have very good interpersonal skills, must be able to work in a multi-disciplinary team and in a diverse multi-cultural environment.
- These competences will be required in feasibility studies, detailed design, environmental audits, environmental and social assessments.
