JOB DETAILS:
Norvik Enterprises Limited is looking for an IT Systems Administrator. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the computing environment by identifying network requirements; installing upgrades; and monitoring network performance

Responsibilities:
• To provide support for all computer and printer hardware, CCTV and all applications used by NEL as well as configuration, upgrades and maintenance of these.
• Troubleshooting and maintenance of server systems (Linux and Microsoft), LAN and WAN solutions
• To implement and enforce internal computer systems security.
• To administer Domain controller, Active directory, Firewalls and routers.
• To implement and maintain up-to-date backups for server and all applications
• To test and implement software patches for all applications, including third party applications
• To build, implement, periodically test and review disaster recovery plans for all ICT systems and infrastructure
• Advise the procurement of Software, Hardware and other ICT accessories.
• To maintain comprehensive and updated documentation of all ICT systems and infrastructure in use by the company
• Provide technical support for both hardware and software issue our user’s encounter
• Manage the configuration and operation of client-based computer operating systems
• Monitor the system daily and respond immediately to security or usability concerns
• Create and verify backups of data, respond to and resolve help desk requests
• Upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution
• Administrate infrastructure, including firewalls, databases, malware protection software and other processes
• Review application logs
• Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
• Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• Perform any other functions as may from time to time be assigned by the supervisor

Requirements
• Academic qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Science Computing or any other related field.
• Minimum of 2 – 3 years working experience in the same field.
• Managerial and leadership skills
• Strong and practical knowledge about CCTV management, Firewalls, Software, Hardware and Networking Protocols
• Excellent Planning and Organizational Skills, familiarity with various operating systems and platforms, resourceful and problem-solving skills
• Candidate should have good communication skills both verbal and written.
