Q-Sourcing is hiring an Installer responsible for ensuring the equipment is installed in a safe manner that doesn’t present any hazards while also supporting functionality to allow for the best possible performance. The job holder will review and explain operation and maintenance information to the user or customer. They will also provide ongoing support, maintenance, and repairs.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate with dispatch for daily appointments
Carry material and stage for installer at the customer’s’ premises.
Guide, coordinate and oversee fellow installers.
Assist with accessories and device collection from assigned stock pick up point as needed.
Assist with the completion of tasks within allotted time frame
Review paperwork with customers where needed.
Wear all identification, safety and courtesy equipment at all times.
Educate customers about benefits and up-sell to customers add on sales products
Educate customers on the features and functionality of installed products
Test electrical equipment or systems to ensure proper functioning of routers and service.
At times, crawl into small spaces, work in all climates and remain physically fit.
Maintain installation tools and equipment in safe working order.
Assist in the removal and installation of materials in customer’s premises.
Evaluate and monitor the performance and quality standards of sub-contractors within their infrastructure boundaries.
Provide Reports of Works done with corresponding Time sheet for daily submission.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Mandatory Requirements:
Minimum of a Diploma or equivalent qualification.
Minimum of 1-year work experience in a telecom, Internet Service Providers.
Background in installing and maintaining outdoor units, telecommunications equipment.
