INVITATION TO TENDER FOR CONSTRUCTION AND RENOVATION OF ECO FACILITIES AND CONSTRUCTION OF A CENTRAL LIVESTOCK AND POULTRY FARM IN PALORINYA REFUGEE SETTLEMENT, OBONGI DISTRICT

ChildFund Uganda, with funding from Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), is implementing the I.E-PHOCKA-UPDA Project to enhance Early Childhood Development (ECD) infrastructure and strengthen community livelihoods through sustainable agriculture in Palorinya Refugee Settlement, Obongi District.

Scope of Works

LOT 1: Construction and Renovation of ECO Facilities

• Construction of two (2) new classroom blocks at Sacred Heart and Salvation ECD Centres

• Construction of a 5-stance latrine at Sacred Heart ECD Centre

• Renovation of existing classroom blocks at Small and Salvation ECD Centres

LOT 2: Construction of a Central Livestock and Poultry Farm

• Establishment of an integrated farm structure for goat breeding and poultry

• Facility components:

  • Water supply system

  • Feed processing and storage areas

  • Hatching unit

  • Slaughter area

• The farm will serve as a community learning hub for sustainable livestock farming.

Tender Guidelines

1. Eligibility: Bidders may apply for one or both lots, but separate submissions are required for each.

2. Tender Documents:

   • Obtainable upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 50,000 at:

   • Collection Hours:

     • Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM

     • Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

3. Mandatory Site Visit:

   • Date: 21st August 2025, 10:00 AM

   • Departure Point: ChildFund Mayo Field Office

4. Key Dates:

   • Submission Deadline: 28th August 2025, 4:00 PM

   • Bid Opening: 19th September 2025, 10:00 AM at ChildFund Country Office
