Expanded Job Descriptions:
LOT 1 (Banking Solution with Data Repository):
- Scope: Provision of an integrated banking software solution with secure data storage, real-time transaction processing, and compliance with Bank of Uganda regulations.
- Requirements: Vendor must demonstrate experience in core banking system deployments, provide 24/7 technical support, and offer staff training.
LOT 2 (Rugged Handheld Terminals):
- Scope: Supply of 52 industrial-grade mobile devices for field banking operations, resistant to dust, water, and shock.
- Requirements: Minimum 3-year warranty, compatibility with existing banking apps, and after-sales service centers in Uganda.
LOT 3-4 (Network Equipment):
- Scope: Cisco networking infrastructure with 3-year Smartnet licenses covering hardware replacement and software updates.
- Requirements: Certified Cisco partners only, with demonstrated experience in financial sector network installations.
Photocopier/Jet Equipment Maintenance (Framework Contracts):
- Scope: Scheduled servicing, emergency repairs, and consumables supply for Kyocera photocopiers and specialized banking printers.
- Requirements: Manufacturer-certified technicians, 4-hour response time for critical failures.
IT Hardware Framework Contracts:
- Scope: Regular supply of laptops (i5/8GB RAM minimum), desktops, and laser printers meeting bank security standards.
- Requirements: Original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) or authorized distributors only.
Riding Gear Procurement:
- Scope: High-visibility motorcycle suits, helmets (ECE 22.05 certified), and boots for mobile banking agents.
- Requirements: Breathable fabrics, reflective strips, and sizes accommodating East African body types.
Power Equipment Maintenance:
- Scope: Quarterly preventive maintenance for UPS systems and voltage stabilizers across 35 bank branches.
- Requirements: Certified electricians, use of genuine parts, and monthly performance reports.
