Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.

On behalf of our client SINOPEC, we are looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced LV ELECTRICIAN to work at Site in Uganda

Roles and Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of this position include:

• With the skill and knowledge as a low-voltage electrician and be familiar with the specifications and standards related to electrical installation.
• Proficient in grounding installation, lighting installation, bridge installation, cable laying, cabinet installation, wiring and other electrical installation skills, and apply them in the installation process.
• Responsible for the material preparation, pulling and transportation of the above sub-projects and the prefabricated installation of various brackets.
• Participate in the cooperation work of the above installation sub-projects, such as civil engineering operations, thermal work operations, anti-corrosion operations, etc.
• Responsible for temporary power installation, operation, management and maintenance.
• Fault handling of electrical related problems in installation work.
• Electrical-related pre-commissioning work, such as cable continuity check, grounding resistance, insulation resistance test, etc.
• Endure hardships and stand hard work, obey the leader, and obey the command.
• Complete other work arranged by the leader

Required Qualifications/Experience

Academic

• Diploma/Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field from a recognized institution.
• Valid Class C or above ERA permit is required.

Experience

• Minimum 1-3 years of hands-on experience in LV electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in Uganda.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• English communication skills, both written and spoken.
