JOB DETAILS:

Job Purpose.
The main purpose of this job is to proficiently perform/maintain approved standard laboratory procedures such as general Laboratory QA/QC, Specimen accessioning and processing, Laboratory testing, Chemistry and Hematology and Microbiology.

Academic & Professional qualifications
• A diploma and formal training as Laboratory Technician.
• Minimum experience of 3 years in laboratory setting.
• Registration with Allied Health Professionals Council with a valid annual practicing license.

Work Experience, knowledge & skills.
• Experience in Laboratory safety and research techniques in the laboratory.
• Experience working in a busy hospital laboratory is highly required.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and social skills.
• Proficiency in at least 3 local languages
• The ability to learn and use complex laboratory equipment.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Good teamworking skills.
• Analytical skills.
• Time management.
• Good Record Keeping Skills

Level of Education: Associate Degree
