Job Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Laundry Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for washing, drying, folding, and organizing laundry efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron laundry items (e.g., clothing, linens, towels) according to established procedures.
• Operate and maintain laundry equipment (e.g., washing machines, dryers, ironing machines) safely and effectively.
• Inspect laundry for stains or damage and pre-treat items as necessary.
• Ensure all laundry is cleaned and handled according to specific instructions or care labels.
• Maintain a clean and organized laundry area, including regular cleaning of equipment and workstations.
• Monitor and replenish laundry supplies (e.g., detergents, fabric softeners) as needed.
• Deliver cleaned laundry to designated areas or customers in a timely manner.
• Follow safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required).
• Previous experience in laundry services or a similar role is a plus.
• Ability to operate laundry machinery and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of fabric types and laundry care labels is an advantage.

Working Conditions:
• Work is performed in a laundry facility, which may involve exposure to heat, steam, and cleaning chemicals.
• Requires standing for extended periods and lifting heavy laundry bags (up to 50 lbs).
• Flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, may be required.
