- Start Date: ASAP (depending on visa process)

- Location: Kampala Office, Uganda

- Duration: 12 months (with possible extension)

- Work schedule: 5 days per week

- Employment status: RESIDENTIAL or 8x2 weeks rotation

Qualification:

ï‚· Qualified to degree level: preferably in Chemical Process Engineering or Petroleum Engineering.

ï‚· A minimum of 10 years of experience in Oil and Gas associated with process and flow assurance

ï‚· Know-how and expertise in operation and process of producing heavy oil, waxy crude

ï‚· Background in Flow assurance, Production chemistry and Water treatment

ï‚· Expertise of process and flow assurance software (ProII, Olga, LedaFlow, etc.)

ï‚· Problem-solving skills for complex and integrated processes

ï‚· Knowledge of industry norms and specifications

Tasks to be carried out:

ï‚· Act as technical authority on process design/engineering during the project and process optimizations/troubleshooting during operational phases.

ï‚· Identify and resolve process issues which are critical during Project and Operational phases.

ï‚· Co-ordinate with other technical disciplines to provide responses to complex problems related to process design, operability and availability, integrity, instrumentation and control, emissions, rotating equipment, static equipment, etc.

ï‚· Lead process, flow assurance and production chemistry studies and PID reviews.

ï‚· Lead process, flow assurance and production chemistry technical assistance to site and CWE (Tier 2 of CWE).

ï‚· Participates in Operating Procedures preparation and update.

ï‚· Ensure interface requirements with the Wellpads facilities, flowlines and pipelines are incorporated into the design and well defined in operating philosophy

ï‚· Provide effective leadership in quality performance.

ï‚· Participate in project and operational reviews as requested

ï‚· Ensure implementation of Digital systems and tools in consultation with the Project Digital Lead.

ï‚· Lead implementation of Process and Flow assurance software prior to the Operations phase.
