Coca-Cola Beverages Africa /CCBA is the largest African Coca-Cola bottler, accounting for 40% of all Coca-Cola volumes on the continent. Coca-Cola Beverages Uganda /CCBU is a subsidiary of CCBA, and we are currently seeking to recruit Load Makers based in Mbarara.
As a Load Maker, you will report directly to the Warehouse Stock Team Leader.
Key Purpose Statement
The Load Maker plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of stock movement within the warehouse. This includes verifying all incoming and outgoing products, maintaining proper documentation, and supporting efficient loading and unloading operations.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
• Accurately verify all products prior to dispatch or receipt. • Verify picking slips against load manifests and invoices. • Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff i.e. Forklift Operators, loaders, off loaders etc. in receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods. • Ensure mixed pallets align with customer orders. • Adhere to FEFO and(or) FIFO standards of warehouse operations • Inspect returned products and empty bottles from the market. • Coordinate truck space allocation for loading and unloading activities. • Perform daily and Monthly stock counts as per procedure. • Oversee stacking and organization of empties, full products, and pallets in the yard. • Address and resolve issues related to damaged goods, delayed shipments, or stock shortages. • Collaborate with production and sales teams to meet operational requirements. • Oversee Safe/proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment (forklifts & pallet jacks). • Maintain accurate records of inventory, deliveries and shipments. • Ensure warehouse operations comply with safety, health, and environmental standards.
Skills, Experience & Education
Qualifications • Minimum requirement: Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Logistics, Transport, Supply Chain, Business Administration,or related field.
Experience • At least 1 year in Procurement and Warehouse Operations.
Competencies • Ability to work in teams. • Honest • Assertive • Self-disciplined
