Our client in coffee production Industry is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Logistics Assistant to support daily logistics and supply chain operations related to coffee sourcing, warehousing, transportation, and export. The role involves coordinating shipments, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the Logistics Manager to ensure timely and efficient movement of coffee products.
Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating transportation of coffee from collection centres to warehouses and export points
- Support export logistics activities including shipment scheduling and documentation
- Prepare, verify, and file logistics and shipping documents
- Maintain accurate inventory, delivery, and shipment records
- Liaise with transporters, warehouse staff, clearing agents, and freight forwarders
- Track shipments and report delays or issues to the Logistics Manager
- Assist in monitoring logistics costs and service provider performance
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and basic trade regulations
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 1–3 years’ experience in logistics or supply chain support, preferably in agriculture or exports
- Basic understanding of transportation, warehousing, and export processes
- Assist in coordinating transportation of coffee from collection centres to warehouses and export points
