Position: Logistics and Export Coordinator
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule shipments, coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers to ensure timely delivery to international markets.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents (e.g., commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin) for accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to international trade regulations, including Incoterms and coffee-specific certifications (e.g., Fairtrade, Rainforest Alliance).
- Work with sales, purchasing, warehousing teams, and external partners (producers, importers, shipping companies) to optimize logistics processes.
- Monitor inventory levels, track shipments, and maintain coffee quality standards during storage and transit.
- Generate reports on freight costs, shipment statuses, and customs compliance for stakeholders.
- Address logistical challenges, such as delays or customs issues, with effective solutions to maintain supply chain efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years in logistics, export operations, or supply chain management, preferably in the coffee or food and beverage industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for diverse stakeholder collaboration.
- Attention to detail for accurate documentation and compliance.
- Certifications in clearing and forwarding is highly desirable.
- Fast-paced, dynamic environment requiring flexibility and adaptability.
