Job Title: Marketing Executive – B2B Fuel
Department: Marketing
Reports to: Marketing Manager
Job Scope
Overview of Job Purpose
Grow, build and protect the company brand portfolio by implementing the monthly, quarterly and annual marketing plans to achieve budgeted volume, market share and profit objectives. The incumbent is expected to efficiently and effectively implement marketing activities in the assigned geographical area for B2B - Fuel
Responsibilities
Key Responsibility Area
- Implements and monitors sales targets while managing allocated sales targets.
- Prepares marketing plans and objectives for various business sectors.
- Monitor stock levels of products and ensure product availability.
- Plans and organizes promotions and presentations to prospective customers.
- Executes promotional initiatives to profitably increase consumption within budgeted parameters in the business unit.
- Gathers and analyzes market research data to enhance business and brand growth.
- Secure profitable accounts in industrial, commercial and institutions for fuel.
- Tracks product line sales and costs by analyzing sales, expenses and margins.
- Ensure that messages are supportive of and consistent with marketing strategies.
- Prepare marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data.
- Keeps promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements.
- Track Inventory in key customer sites, placing orders and verifying receipts.
- Supports Station managers in the respective areas by providing sales data, market trends, forecasts, account analyses, new product information and resolving customer complaints.
Requirements for the job
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a business-related degree
- A Minimum of 2 years’ marketing experience with at least 1 year in the petroleum industry, FMCG, commercial sales, Banking/Financial services (corporate sales) or insurance
