MEDICAL OFFICER

ROLE SUMMARY

The Medical Officer will provide quality clinical care, promote preventive health services and contribute to improved health outcomes for our patients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide outpatient, inpatient and emergency medical services.
  • Diagnose, treat and manage patients according to established protocols.
  • Participate in clinical meetings and case reviews.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and reports.
  • Promote health education and community outreach.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by supervisor.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • MBChB or equivalent qualification recognized by the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council.
  • Valid practicing license.
  • Registration with the relevant professional body.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
