Our Client SOGEA SATOM a Civil works company is seeking to hire a Deputy
CFO for the Uganda Operations reporting to the CFO.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the generation of reliable and accurate balance sheets and quarterly income statements
  
• Ensure Timely monthly Reporting to the Head-Office (Paris)
  
• Proof of interim financial statements
  
• Manage the generation and submission of Monthly and annual tax and social returns on a timely basis
  
• Participate in the continuous development of the reporting office
  
• Lead in the implementation of Company HR policies
  
• Participate in meetings with Head-Office located near Paris (Meetings held in French)
  
• Ensure accurate entries in the French accounting software and therefore clean reports at any one time
  
• Respect the requirements of the quality, safety and environment management system
  
• Lead in the development of proposals in line with company guidelines
  
• Lead and participate in the company's continuous improvement initiatives
  
• Respect the procedures and instructions currently in effect.
  
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations governing the work
  

Experience required:

• About al0-yearexperience in the Public Works Sector
  
• Exposure to working with Multinational companies and their processes and procedures
  
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
  
• Knowledge of ISO Certification (the company has a triple certification)
  
• Strongly experienced in tax audits

Required Knowledge:

• Working Knowledge of Business French Language
  
• Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Standards

Education Requirements:

• MBA or Masters in Finance and Accounting

• Ability to communicate clearly in both English and French (Written and Oral)
