On behalf of SPIRO, we are looking for a competent, skilled and experienced Multimedia Designer to work in Kampala.

Job purpose:

To create engaging visual content through motion, photography, illustration and AI-powered content creation that strengthens brand storytelling and audience engagement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Produce motion graphics and animated content for digital and social platforms.
• Lead photography and photo editing for campaigns, events and corporate communications.
• Create illustrations, icons and custom graphic assets.
• Develop short-form content optimised for social media.
• Use AI tools for image generation, video enhancement, editing, storyboarding and creative concept development.
• Support video editing and visual storytelling requirements.
• Maintain a high-quality visual asset library.
• Work closely with the Creative Designer and marketing teams to execute campaigns.

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS.

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
• Strong photography and photo editing skills.
• Illustration and visual storytelling expertise.
• Motion graphics and animation capability.
• AI-fluent with practical experience using generative AI tools for creative production and workflow optimisation.
• Understanding of social media content formats and trends.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver under tight timelines.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
• Strong photography and photo editing skills.
