JOB DETAILS:

Overall Job Purpose
To provide and monitor feedings to pediatric patients enrolled in NRP and carry out nutrition education for patients and caretakers. Participate in developing the hospital patients' diet and work closely with the project management team to manage nutritional interventions for various conditions including donor reporting.
Participate in the CP and dysphagia clinics as well as research and training.

Academic & Professional qualifications
• Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition or Human Nutrition and Dietetics from a recognized institution Computer knowledge and documentation skills Clinical Nutritionist Skills or Public Health nutritionist skills are desirable

Work Experience, knowledge & skills
• 3 years' working experience
• Good communication, presentation and social skills Ability to document all nutrition activities in the department
• Knowledge of English and at least two local (Ugandan) languages
• Knowledge of rehabilitation of people with disabilities especially children
• A Clear understanding of Disability and rehabilitation programmes, community dynamics, cultures and practices
• Patience, Flexibility and Creativity skills

Experience in Months: 36

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
