Job Description

Job Title : Officer, Customer Services

Reports to : Senior Officer, Customer Service

Location : PPDA Head Office

Department : Office of the Executive Director

Job summary: To promote a positive brand impression of the Authority through exceptional customer service delivery at the Front Desk, online or on the telephone.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the development of the annual Public and Corporate Affairs Plan for Authority and ensure its effective implementation,
  • Support the development and implementation of the Authority’s Stakeholder Engagement Plan,
  • Support regular contact with politicians, political advisers, civil servants, non-departmental public bodies or regulators to keep them informed about the organization’s work and policy concerns,
  • Support in organizing and attending regular meetings with stakeholders, representing their organizations and forging contacts with key decision-makers,
  • Support internal forecasts of the likely effect of public policy changes on their organization,
  • Support the Management of PPDA’s social media platforms and ensure visibility and active engagement on line,
  • Support effective implementation of quality internal stakeholders’ engagement and communication across the Authority,
  • Support the preparation of newsletters, press statements and newspaper articles for the Executive Director and/or any other Executive who is going to interact with the Public, and
  • Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements

EDUCATIONALREQUIREMENTS

  • A Bachelors’ Degree with Honours in any field.

JOB RELATED EXPERIENCE& KNOWLEDGE

  • A minimum of 1 year working experience in a similar role in a reputable organization.

  • Excellent Communication skills,
  • Very good Report writing skills, and
  • High level of problem-solving skills
