JOB DETAILS:
Background information about the job or company:
The AGL is Africa's first integrated logistics network, specializing in port, maritime, logistics, and rail solutions. The Operational Excellence Manager will lead the implementation of the AGL's OpEx strategy in Uganda.
Responsibilities:
- - Identify and assess operational challenges
- - Develop and manage a portfolio of OpEx projects
- - Train and coach operations managers in core OpEx tools
Qualifications:
- - Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Industrial Management, Operations, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
- - Master’s degree (MBA or related field) is an added advantage
- - Professional certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt) is strongly preferred
Experience needed:
Proven experience in leading Operational Excellence initiatives in any sector
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 12
Level of Education: bachelor degree
