Background:

UNIFI is hiring an Operations Financial Controller to influence and guide finance and other departments within the business with strategic insights derived from financial and operational data.

Responsibilities:

  • Analysis of financial results, monitor key performance metrics, analyze variances, identify trends and recommend actions to management, including branch profitability analysis.
  • Produce financial reports and develop strategies for long-term financial goals.
  • Prepare cash flow statements and forecasts to support cash flow planning.
  • Support fundraising efforts from origination to reporting.
  • Collaborating with business units to develop accurate and realistic budgets and forecasts that align with the company’s overall goals.
  • Creating and interpreting financial models to support decision-making and assess the commercial viability of new projects or strategies.
  • Identify risks, areas for operational efficiency and workflow improvements.
  • Design, implement, and manage financial projects.
  • Serve as a liaison between finance and operations.
  • Carry out operational reconciliations affecting financials.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • CPA or MBA preferred.
  • Five years of relevant experience in a mid-senior finance role.
