Operations Manager job at Africa Global Logistics

Background:

The Operations Manager will spearhead the operational management of a diverse client portfolio, ensuring efficient and compliant logistics operations across Sea Freight (Import & Export), Airfreight, Warehousing, and Inland Container Depot (ICD) services. This role is pivotal in driving service excellence, optimizing costs, enhancing productivity, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Procurement
• Minimum 10 years of experience in clearing and forwarding, with at least 5 years in a senior management role
• Strong understanding of international freight forwarding, cross-border transport, and corridor logistics
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of logistics systems (e.g., SAP, Power BI) is an advantage
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills
