JOB DETAILS:
Department: Spare Parts / After-Sales
Reports to: Parts Manager
Location: Kampala
Job Purpose
To drive parts sales by identifying customer needs, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring timely and accurate provision of genuine parts and accessories to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell spare parts and accessories to customers and workshops, meeting sales targets.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, leveraging existing client profiles.
- Advise customers on suitable parts based on technical knowledge of trucks and buses.
- Process customer orders, invoices, and payments accurately.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs.
- Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Collect market intelligence on competitor pricing, promotions, and parts availability.
- Collaborate with the service team to align parts sales with workshop requirements.
- Maintain professional conduct, reflecting the company’s brand and standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in parts sales, preferably in the automotive or heavy trucks/buses sector.
- Proven client portfolio with solid recommendations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Customer-focused, results-driven, and self-motivated.
- Knowledge of trucks/buses spare parts and systems is an added advantage.
