JOB DETAILS:
Biyinzika Poultry International Limited (BPIL) is the leading integrated poultry company and a recognized household brand within Uganda. BPIL produces and distributes quality day-old chicks and HACCP certified animal feed through over 40 branches within Uganda and the East African region. BPIL also produces chicken meat products under the Pearl Chicken Brand. BPIL is looking to recruit a suitable candidate for the position below:
Job Title: Plumber
Duty station: Bulemezi

Key Responsibilities
• Ensure effective installation of water systems, water tanks, water filtration, septic tanks, pipes, boreholes, toilets, soak pits, oil systems and compressors, farm bio security disinfectants, mobile washing stations among other water equipment/systems for animal and human utilization.
• Ensure proper and timely maintenance of water systems on all sites, water piping from joint, drinkers, handle linkages and compressor system.
• Trouble shooting and addressing of any water system emergencies for example water leaks, pipes for shower rooms and break downs.
• Reporting any identified emergencies, nature of equipment needed, maintenance/service reports
• Ensure proper records management of all information related to plumbing activities
• Development of boqs and quotations in plumbing related works
• Work to a professional standard by ensuring and implementing Health and Safety SOP
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor Education: Certificate in Plumbing

Experience:
• 1-2 years' experience in similar/ relevant position.
Knowledge & Competencies:
• Plumbing Operations Knowledge, Interpersonal and Communication skills, Highly Flexible and Hard Working.

Experience in Months: 12
