Job Summary: ST. ANDREW JUNIOR SCHOOL, AMUCA desire to recruit competent staff to fill the following vacancies existing in our school. The applicant must have a standing character, must be God fearing upholding sound and good morals. possessing ability to think and implement set goals and plans and desiring to work well as a result oriented person in a busy and dynamic environment.
Responsible for lesson planning. teaching and assessment, of Learners using the Appropriate instructional materials according to the national Primary school curriculum for Uganda.

The successful candidate will;
- Create and Establish a conducive learning environment for the learners.
- Carry out curriculum and Co-curriculum reviews and prepare age graded instructional materials.
- Undertake an ongoing analysis of learning growth and development needs of learners and foster appropriate values and competences required
- Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the National curriculum
- Develop and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons.
- Create a positive and supportive classroom environment.
- Assess and track student progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and review syllabuses and other related plans and materials for teaching.
- Actively monitor and follow up progress of children in the subject area and cocurricular.
- Ensure there is high quality and timely teaching of the subject area.
- Ability to bring up a wholesome child.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- At least a certificate or Diploma in Primary Education.
- A degree in primary Education or relevant qualification will be an added advantage.
- Teaching experience of not less than 1 years, will be an added advantage..
- Knowledge of the subject.
- Able to communicate using English.
- Ability to understand and interpret the curriculum and all the related aspects
- Possession of both analytical and critical thinking skills
- Must be Computer Literate.
- Create and Establish a conducive learning environment for the learners.
