We are seeking to recruit Primary School Teachers who will be responsible to impart knowledge and skills to learners.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct classroom instruction accordance to Watoto education standards and ministry of Education and Sport.
  • Evaluate teaching and learning by conducting monthly and termly assessment.
  • Monitor subject and class academic performance of learners to ensure academic excellence.
  • Create and maintain a safe, conducive and interactive learning environment for the learners.
  • Recognize and celebrate outstanding learners in different aspect of school life.
  • Demonstrate good stewardship of resources and property in the school community by ensuring the safe custody and optimum use of equipment assigned.
  • Motivate and engage learners in at least one vocational skill as well as ensure that learner's active participation in skilling activities is consistent.
  • Monitor and report performance of learners in vocational skills.
  • Assess and evaluate real life project presented by learners.
  • Conduct effective leadership sessions with the learners in small groups.
  • Provide one-on-one mentorship program and guidance by being present and available in the lives of learners.
  • Conduct real life projects to provide real life learning experiences to learners.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience.

  • The applicant for the role should hold at least a Grade V, Diploma in Education.
  • At least two (2) years’ experience in teaching.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills. High degree of flexibility and initiative.
  • Commitment to work within a team environment and ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Pedagogical skills, creative and Innovative Skills.
  • Knowledge of computer skills in word, excel and PowerPoint.
