We are recruiting on behalf of our client!

Job Purpose:
The holder of this position is responsible for ensuring cost-effective purchase of all inputs locally and internationally as required by the production requirements whilst ensuring quality control and compliance with the Company’s policies and procedures. He /she maintains the entire import procurement function and such other special assignments as advised by the Financial Director in an efficient manner by strictly adhering to the Procurement policies, rules & procedures.

Responsibilities.
• Procurement of goods.
• Importation management
• Manage every aspect of the supply chain
• Leading purchase team.
• Market survey
• Liaison with Suppliers
• Purchase reports Imports Ordering
• Reconciliation of incoming imports and delivered items
• Coordination of Stake Holder and Team to capture required information and constantly give them updates
• Import Stock Review
• Liaison with Customs/ URA
• Logistics communication
• Annual review of all import suppliers as to cost per item supplied.
• Reporting all required imports information to Accounts.

Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelors Degree in procurement and Logistics| Business Administration| Finance with minimum experience of 10 years and working knowledge.
• Professional procurement qualification such as (CIPS) will be added advantage.
