Reports To: Head of Supply Chain

Location: Kampala, Uganda

Systems: Experience with SAP or Business Central

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategically plan and manage sourcing, transportation and customer service for the company.

2. Plan, manage and evaluate supply chain operations liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, transportation companies and customers.

3. Create and implement best practice supply chain principles, policies and processes across the organization to improve operational and financial performance.

4. Develop methods and procedures for cost effective delivery of raw/ packaging materials from suppliers to support the company in achieving customer demand and minimizing cost impacts.

5. Develop and maintain transportation system to regional customers that ensures business needs are met.

6. Manage customer service activities including order entry, customer satisfaction, interface with sales, production, regulatory, and quality ensuring competitive advantage and resolving complaints.

7. Ensure Company is in compliance with laws and regulations regarding transportation, including hazardous materials.

8. Motivate, organize and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met.

9. Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle (track quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency).

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management
• 2 to 4 years in warehousing, logistics, supply chain or similar environment
