JOB DETAILS:
Newrest Uganda Inflight Services is a Catering Company offering Inflight/Onboard Catering services and Corporate Catering with various retail outlets within Entebbe International Airport. Newrest is looking for a qualified and experienced person to fill the following position: Job tittle- Production Manager. Reporting: To Unit Manager and based in Entebbe. .

Key Tasks:
• Manager live the merchant shopping and reception part and the teams attached to these activities
• Guarantor the productivity ratios of the site by carrying out the following actions: i. Labor cost ii. Sizing the activity of all services iii. Write daily boards and rosters of Food cost: iv. Write the supply plan v. Control orders, received commodities and material outputs. vi. Spread the number vi. Spread the number
• Make sure that the installation of the hot andcold kitchen, of the assembly and tray set up departments comply with the diffuse figure
• Identify, on your perimeter of actions, activities that have no added value and need to be eliminated, perform audits of work methods and procedures.
• Ensure smooth running of Winrest system and that all production activities are entered in the system.
• Detect problems, list the most problematic and encourage the implementation of corrective actions
• Establish and monitor the quality performance indicators of the client companies but also those related to the loss of materials, hours worked and health/ safety at work.
• Apply, in collaboration with the QAQC manager, the maintenance and site maintenance plan (cleaning, maintenance of the maintenance tool) production and storage, facility security, pest control, training in good practices ...).

Qualification and Experience:
• At least a Degree in Procurement or related field or a related field
• A Diploma or Certificate in Hotel Management will be an added advantage.
• At least 3-5 years' experience in a reputable company
