JOB DETAILS:

Background:

WWF Uganda is implementing a project focused on forest restoration and carbon absorption in the Albertine Rift region.

Responsibilities:

• Manage forest restoration programs and resources
• Engage with stakeholders on carbon emissions programs
• Support forest management and regeneration initiatives
• Develop business cases for nature-based enterprises

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Forestry, Environmental Studies, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in forestry management or conservation
• Experience with forest carbon projects and CCB/VCS standards

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 60

Level of Education: bachelor degree
