About This Job:

Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.

On behalf of our client in the Renewable Energies Sector, we are looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced Instrument Engineer to work on Site.

Key Responsibilities

• Have knowledge and understanding of ISO-9001 quality system requirements and implementation.
• Have a thorough working knowledge of the National instrument Code/NFPA 70, IEC or equivalent standards. Applicants holding CompEx certification/IECEx certification will be given priority consideration.
• The applicant should be comfortable with working at heights, e.g. utilizing ladders, AWP. There are no uncomfortable symptoms such as acrophobia.
• Communicate effectively with clients and any inspection team.
• Direct the installation and maintenance of instrument systems, components, equipment, cables.
• Maintain and improve industrial skills and techniques. Prepare the instrument Construction/Installation Plan, scheme, and procedures for CPF.
• Proficient in instrument Test and its complied standards, codes or international requirements.
• Prepare work reports, data and summary as required.
• Any other job as may be assigned by Department from time to time.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation Automation Engineering or relative discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Instrument works, and the Central Processing Facility experience is preferred.
• Proficient in Office Software, CAD, Navisworks (preference).
• Fluently read, write and speak the English Language.
• CompEx certification/IECEx certification are preferred.
• Other Certifications will be a plus.
• Experience in driving and a valid driving license is an added advantage.
