JOB DETAILS:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct preventive and reactive maintenance of electrical lighting, wiring systems, and refrigeration equipment in assigned Java locations to ensure functionality and safety.
- Inspect refrigeration equipment to verify operational status and safety compliance.
- Perform basic plumbing, masonry, and carpentry repairs in assigned Java locations.
- Address maintenance activities impacting food safety to eliminate hazards.
- Document all maintenance activities in designated formats for record-keeping.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Diploma in Refrigeration, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized tertiary institution.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 1 year of practical experience as a refrigeration maintenance technician.
- Ability to work at heights.
- Willingness to work night shifts for up to 20% of duty time.
CORE COMPETENCIES:
- Basic skills in repairing single- and three-phase wiring, lighting, and socket circuits.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing:
- Drinks chiller, chef base, chest freezer, upright standalone fridge, deck-type fridge, under-counter fridge, split-type AC units (basic repair skills).
- Basic plumbing, masonry, and carpentry skills.
- Strong spoken English language skills.
- Basic written and spoken technical communication skills.
