REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP)

1. Background

The Luigi Giussani Foundation, herein referred to as LGF, is an indigenous for-impact organization that has been at the forefront of responding to educational challenges in Uganda. Based in Luzira, Kampala, LGF is committed to supporting holistic human development through education based on the value of the person and the principle of subsidiarity, with a preferential option for the poor and those from disadvantaged backgrounds, regardless of location, parentage or biological endowments. It is registered in Uganda as a non-profit organization under the Non-Governmental Organizations Act. 2016 with registration number 6100. LGF implements programs in the following thematic areas: Teacher Professional Development, Life Skills and Values Enhancement, Foundational Learning and School Culture, Leadership and Management. The programs are delivered with emphasis on Agency and Wellbeing of the beneficiaries, Safeguarding and Gender Transformative Education, Climate and Environment Education, Research and Continuous Learning, and Advocacy and Partnerships as cross-cutting issues. As part of its commitment to strengthening organizational systems and ensuring efficient program implementation, LGF invites bids from interested and suitably qualified suppliers for the supply of goods and services listed below:

3. Access to Tender Documents

Interested and suitably qualified suppliers may download the RFP documents with the required tender information and Specifications from the LGF Website https://lgfug.org/tenders or request complete tender information from the procurement and logistics office located at P.O. Box, 40390 Sentamu Rd 828 Luzira, Kampala. Bidders shall submit physical - sealed bids and sign the bid register for confirmation.


4. Submission of Bids

Bids shall be addressed to the PROCUREMENT COMMITTEE, clearly marked with the tender reference number in the RFP document strictly to the tender email tenders@lgfug.org or hand delivered not later than 4th March 2026 5:00PM (East African Standard Time).

5. Ethical Standards and Reservation of Rights

LGF maintains a zero-tolerance policy on corruption and ensures equal opportunity in its procurement processes. LGF reserves the right, at its own discretion, to reject or accept any bid, is not obliged to select the lowest bidder, and may cancel or withdraw this tender at any time without prior notice or liability.
