General Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and insightful Research Assistant to join the DolPHIN-3 Project (WP1 & WP2). This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of injectable antiretroviral therapy among postpartum women living with HIV. The Research Assistant will play a key role in study data collection, including both qualitative and quantitative components, as well as the identification and pre-screening of clinical trial participants. The position requires skills in mixed-methods data collection and prior experience in peer mother support.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Collection: Conduct qualitative and quantitative interviews in line with study protocols.
- Participant Recruitment: Support the recruitment and pre-screening of participants for the clinical trial and health systems study, ensuring adherence to ethical standards throughout the process.
- Data Management & Quality Assurance: Transcribe qualitative data, and perform quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) activities.
- Ethical Standards & Compliance: Ensure all research activities are conducted ethically, in accordance with institutional guidelines
Academic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or a related field

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or a related field.
- Experience: At least two years of experience in a peer mother role and in qualitative research data collection, preferably within an academic or research institute setting.
- Additional Experience: Demonstrated experience in participant recruitment and working with diverse research populations.

- Strong interviewing skills
- Accurate and efficient transcription skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
