🌍 Vashi Impact Group (VIG) is seeking a motivated Researcher to support our feasibility studies, baselines, evaluations, and evidence-generation work across East and West Africa.

We are looking for a Uganda-based professional with strong research skills, fieldwork experience, and a passion for gender equality, social justice, and ethical research practice.

Key Responsibilities:

▪️ Support feasibility studies, baseline/midline/endline assessments, and impact evaluations
▪️ Lead or support field and remote data collection (surveys, FGDs, KIIs)
▪️ Assist with tool development, digitisation, and pre-testing (quantitative & qualitative)
▪️ Conduct literature reviews, contextual analysis, and evidence scanning
▪️ Support data entry, cleaning, coding, and analysis
▪️ Contribute to technical reports, learning briefs, and documentation
▪️ Provide technical and administrative support to research teams.

What We’re Looking For:

▪️ Strong academic background in social sciences, development, gender studies, economics, or related field
▪️ Experience in data collection and research writing
▪️ Basic proficiency in Excel, SPSS, STATA, KoboToolbox, or NVivo
▪️ Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail
▪️ Commitment to ethical research and working with diverse communities
