Security Officer job at Victorious Education Services

Job Purpose

To protect school property, students, staff and visitors by maintaining a secure and safe environment through vigilant monitoring and professional conduct.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor all entry and exit points
• Screen visitors and maintain visitor log book
• Patrol school premises regularly
• Monitor security cameras (if available)
• Ensure gates are locked/unlocked as per schedule
• Respond to emergencies and incidents
• Assist with traffic control during peak hours
• Protect school assets from theft/damage
• Report security breaches immediately
• Escort students/staff when required
• Conduct security checks of premises
• Write incident reports as needed
• Work with local authorities when necessary

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum O-Level certificate
• Security training certificate
• Previous security experience
• Basic First Aid knowledge
• Good communication skills
• Alert and observant
• Physically fit
• Conflict resolution skills
• Clean criminal record
• References from previous employers
• Ability to work shifts including nights/weekends
