Job Summary:
We are looking for a seasoned and analytical Sr. Credit Executive to manage and optimize our company's credit-granting process. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing the creditworthiness of potential clients, managing existing accounts, and implementing strategies to minimize bad debt risks. This role requires a professional who is open to relocating and thrives in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate credit applications and perform risk analysis on new and existing clients.
- Develop and implement credit policies and procedures.
- Manage the collections process for overdue accounts.
- Prepare reports on credit and portfolio performance for management.
- Negotiate payment plans with clients and resolve billing disputes.
- Maintain accurate records of credit decisions and client interactions.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (typically 3-5 years) in a credit management or senior credit analysis role.
- Must be open to relocating to the Kampala area.
- Strong understanding of financial statements and credit analysis techniques.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and decision-making skills.
