Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit daily production reports including commercial output, scrap, attendance, and maintenance updates for all machines to management.
- Ensure proper machine care, routine servicing, and general maintenance for all assigned equipment.
- Maintain effective communication with relevant department heads and ensure timely execution of instructions, requisitions, and efficient utilization of raw materials, manpower, and consumables.
- Support management in identifying and reporting anticipated equipment failures.
- Provide technical support during machine maintenance activities.
- Ensure that all finished products meet the required quality standards.
- Organize, supervise, and provide leadership to staff under the role holder's supervision.
- Uphold discipline and proper conduct of staff across all sections.
- Enforce workplace safety procedures and always ensure compliance.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Line Manager.
Academic Qualification, Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from a recognized university.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Shift/Mechanical Engineer or in a similar industrial environment.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
- Knowledge of electronic systems is an added advantage.
- Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings and circuits.
