About the Role
Health Promotion International Ltd is seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager to lead our digital presence. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that enhance brand visibility, engage diverse audiences, and support our mission of promoting health and wellbeing across Uganda.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Create, curate, and manage engaging content across platforms (Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok).
- Monitor, analyze, and report on performance metrics to optimize campaigns.
- Manage online communities, respond to inquiries, and foster positive engagement.
- Collaborate with program teams to amplify project activities and campaigns.
- Stay updated on digital trends and recommend innovative approaches.
- Ensure brand consistency and adherence to communication guidelines.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field.
- At least 3–5 years of proven experience managing social media for an organization or brand.
- Strong content creation skills (graphics, video, copywriting).
- Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of public health communication is an added advantage.

- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Team player with a proactive attitude.
