JOB PURPOSE

Provide technical support in implementing, coordinating, and monitoring stakeholder engagement and community mobilization activities. Ensure effective communication between the project and stakeholders, manage grievances, and produce timely reports on project implementation.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Implementation

  • Update and maintain the stakeholder map within the project area.
  • Implement the Stakeholder Engagement Plan (SEP).
  • Schedule and participate in stakeholder engagement meetings and activities.
  • Organize community awareness and sensitization sessions.
  • Mobilize communities for project activities.
  • Manage the grievance handling system.
  • Build coalitions with actors in districts of operation.
  • Prepare detailed work plans and conduct risk assessments for field campaigns.

Reporting

  • Participate in project meetings and provide updates on implementation.
  • Produce timely daily, weekly, and monthly reports.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Essential:

  • Applicants should be Ugandans in possession of a minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Social Works and Social Administration, Development studies or related field from a recognized University / Institution.
  • At least five (5) years of proven similar work experience in a reputable organization.
  • No criminal track record.
  • He/she should be willing to travel and work upcountry.

  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Proven report writing skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A self-starter who is able to work on own initiative with limited supervision.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Pays attention to detail.
