Newrest is the only major catering company active in all catering and related hospitality segments including airlines catering, contract catering, remote site and support services, railways catering, airport and motorway retail concession.
Newrest Uganda Inflight Services is an ISO 9001:2015 and 22001: 2018 certified company based at Entebbe international airport with various branches across the country.
Newrest is looking for qualified and experienced people to fill the following position:
Job title: Sous-Chef

Profile
• Previous experience in Catering and hospitality management with minimum of 5 years
• Previous experience from any large scale catering company or industry
• Experience in menu designing

Duties and Responsibilities
• Ensures that menu specifications are adhered to on a daily basis as per customer's requirements
• Ensures that relevant staffs are knowledgeable of menus by training them and keeping records
• Liaises with Quality Control department to maintain HACCP safety throughout the kitchen
• Participates in menu development and presentation for customers
• Liaises with sanitation department on hygiene and cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
• Makes requisitions from stores
